We are beginning our final week of #ACTforImpACT.  Students are ready to show what they know! Ninth graders will take the PreACT10, and tenth and eleventh graders will take the ACT on April 6.

Completion of Foundations/DSC Safety and Climate Surveys:

Oxford City School will be administering the on-line Safe & Civil Schools Climate & Safety Survey to the school community.

The purpose of this survey is to find out what members of the school community think about the following:

• Student safety
• How students interact with each other
• Rules/Expectations for student behavior and class procedures
• How students feel about the school in general
• How faculty members interact with parents/families
• How staff members interact with each other
• Behavior management and discipline procedures
• Potential problems

Be on the lookout for something in your mailbox related to this.  Please complete the on-line Safe & Civil Schools Climate & Safety Survey at your earliest convenience.  OCS wants your input!

Input from all staff members (including teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, office support, custodians, and cafeteria workers) is essential for deciding how to improve campus discipline, behavior, safety, and civility.  A high completion rate means that the results will accurately reflect how the staff as a whole views behavior, discipline, safety, and civility on campus.
