1st Annual Children and Youth Mental Health Awareness

The School Social Workers and Mental Health Services Coordinators from Oxford City Schools, Jacksonville City Schools, Calhoun County Schools, and Anniston City Schools are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Children and Youth Mental Health Awareness event. The goal is to raise awareness of mental health and the issues that the students are facing in today's society, as well as, provide families an opportunity to explore community resources which support children, youth, and parents.

The event, EmbRACE What Matters: #Mental Health Matters, will be held on May 14th on McClellen from 8:00-12:00. We will host a 5k run, along with food vendors and community outreach partners. We will have fun for the whole family with bouncy houses, games, and door prizes. Also Cocky from JSU will be there!!
